This specific mint tea is a milder version of standard mint tea. It does not have a strong cooling feeling but has a soothing and calming effect, thus, I don’t recommend having this mint tea to refresh yourself. Furthermore, Whittard suggests that 95 degrees is the ideal brewing temperature for this mint tea and is not suitable for being brewed at temperatures far beyond that.

I personally think the aroma is very strong, which can set off a floral fragrance strong enough to fill an entire room once brewed. There are many varieties of Whittard tea, and different types have different brewing methods. So, here we will make an individual variant of tea.

Introduction:

• White tea: brew 200ml of water at 80 degrees with 4g of tea leaves, soak for 2 to 3 minutes
• Green tea and yellow tea: Brew 200ml of water at 100 degrees with 2g of tea leaves, soak for 2 to 3 minutes
• Black tea: Brew 200ml of water with 2g of tea leaves at a temperature of 100 degrees, soak for 3 to 5 minutes
• Oolong tea and Pu’er tea: brew 200ml of water with 2g of tea leaves at a temperature of 80 degrees, soak for 3 to 5 minutes
• Fruit tea and herbal tea: brew 200ml of water with a water temperature of 100 degrees with 4g of tea leaves, soak for 3 to 5 minutes
